Maremma

Maremma with it’s thermal springs and tuff villages

The southern countryside of Tuscany, called Maremma, is a mixt of scenarios which goes from the gain fields of Siena, the cypress trees of the Val d’Orcia and the stone villages based on top hills at Amiata. The most interesting thing to be known by cyclists is that most of the roads crossing this area, are in very good conditions and with almost no traffic at all. Even the choice of places where to stay is very large, and depending from where you will be based, it will be possible to pedal from the thermal spring of Saturnia, to the tuff-made villages of Sorano, Sovana and Pitigliano.
